PETRO SERVICE TO PURCHASE KW PETROLEUM SERVICES

Petro Service Ltd. intends to purchase K.W. Petroleum Services Ltd., Petro Service announced.

The transaction is expected to close by July 31 after all sale conditions have been met.

In operation since 1985, Petro Service Ltd. provides service, distribution, installation and construction in the petroleum and fluid handling industry. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company employs more than 100 people throughout Canada.  

K.W. Petroleum Services Ltd. was established in 1982. The late Rick Duval purchased the company in 1993. Chris McMurtry and Terry Lightbody became partners in 1995 and took full ownership in 2015 upon Duval's death. The Saskatoon-based company, with a branch in Regina, specializes in the construction, installation and maintenance of petroleum equipment throughout Western Canada.
