Jones & Frank, a fueling system solutions provider in North America, named David Whittington chief financial officer, effective March 4, the company announced.

“David is an expert financial professional, as well as an accomplished business executive responsible for running complex operations both nationally and worldwide,” said Keith Shadrick, CEO of Jones & Frank. “David’s decades of financial, operational and executive experiences were gained through his willingness to accept the toughest assignments while working for world-renowned industrial manufacturing conglomerates. David will be a great addition to our team.”

Early in his career, Whittington completed General Electric Co.’s Experienced Financial Management Leadership Development Program while holding positions of increasing responsibility in the Consumer & Industrial Business Unit. He also held senior financial management positions in the GE Plastics Business Unit, including chief financial officer of the Polymershapes Division.

Most recently, Whittington was vice president of finance and information technology for the Purolator Advanced Filtration Group and a business unit manager for the Industrial Process Division at Parker Hannifin.

He is a graduate of Kent State’s executive MBA program and has an undergraduate degree in business administration from Baldwin-Wallace University.

Whittington and his family will relocate to the greater Raleigh, North Carolina, area this summer.
