Lee J. Nicholson died Dec. 6, 2020, from complications of COVID-19. He was 75.
The founder of Omntec Mfg. retired from the company in 2018 after nearly 40 years. He was a pioneer in the relay and petroleum industry.
Nicholson was born Jan. 31, 1945, in New York.
He studied electronics and hydraulics in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the USS Independence. He attended Memphis State University and Hofstra University.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Carol; a daughter, Lydia Speezio (Charlie); three sons, Keith (Donna), Steven (Amy) and Gregg Nicholson (Jennifer); and eight grandchildren, a nephew and many other family members and friends.
