Joseph "Joe" Bartholemew Radermacher died Dec. 5, 2018, at his home from complications of Parkinson’s disease and GPA disease. He was 66.
Radermacher was born May 31, 1952, in Minneapolis to Lee and Henrietta (Vetsch) Radermacher. He graduated with the Hopkins High School class of 1970. He also graduated in 1974 with a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology. He married Colleen that year, and they raised four children. Radermacher and his brother, Tom, grew Pump and Meter Service Inc. in Hopkins, Minnesota, where Radermacher served as CEO.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, home projects, spending winter in Florida, playing with his grandkids, and cruises on Lake Bavaria.
Radermacher was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years; two daughters, Amy Radermacher of Minneapolis and Kelly Radermacher Butts and her husband, John, of Milwaukee; two sons, Eric and his wife, Taylor, of Minnetrista, and Kurt and his wife, Lauren, of Chaska, Minnesota; four sisters, Cheri Wolfe and Cathy Ruckheim, both of Minnetonka, Carol Narum of Orono, Minnesota, and Connie Haugen of Norway; his brother, Tom Radermacher of Chanhassen, Minnesota; six grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services were held Dec. 10 at St. Victoria Catholic Church in Victoria, Minnesota.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Joe Radermacher Engineering Scholarship Fund.
