Funeral services for Elizabeth “Beth” Woodruff Benton, of Buford, Georgia, will be at 1 p.m. Nov. 20 at Chapel of Johns Creek Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. The family will receive friends at a reception after the service.
Woodruff Benton died Nov. 15, 2020. She was 59.
She was born Aug. 14, 1961, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The 1979 graduate of Central High School in Harrison, Tennessee, also was a 1983 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was co-owner of United Pump and Controls in Suwanee, Georgia, with her husband and sons. She was a member of Johns Creek Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Her hobbies included spending time with her family, taking trips with friends and playing ALTA tennis.
She was preceded in death by her son, Chase Benton; and her mother, Louise Woodruff.
Loving survivors include her husband of 37 years, Bruce “B.J.” Benton Jr., of the home; two sons, Travis (Brittany) Benton, of Pendergrass, Georgia, and Miles (Jessica) Benton, of Gainesville, Georgia; her father, James “Jim” Woodruff, of Chattanooga; her sister, Pam Ragsdale, of Chattanooga; four grandchildren and many close family members and friends.
