Funeral services for Earl F. Greer II, 79, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at Pearson Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 at the funeral home.
Greer died Oct. 13, 2020.
He was born March 30, 1941, to Carl F. and Evelyn S. Greer. He was past president of Service Welding and Machine Co., past president of the Steel Tank Institute and past president of Louisville Oil Men’s Club. In 1991, he was inducted into the STI Hall of Fame.
He graduated from Eastern High School, Emory University in Atlanta, and did graduate work at the University of Louisville. He served six years in the U.S. Army Reserves.
His hobbies included playing jazz piano, boating on the Ohio River on his boat, the Dear One, and playing golf.
Loving survivors include his wife, Jane Kuehn Greer; a brother, Carl F. Greer; and two nieces and two nephews.
