Charles “Chuck” D. Holcomb, of Denton, Texas, died Oct. 8, 2020, after living 16 months with pancreatic cancer.
Holcomb was born May 13, 1938, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. The son of a military father, he attended 11 schools in 12 years. He made many friends as a result. A career in sales was a natural fit. He retired in 2014 from his sales position at Jack Pittman & Associates Inc. Previously, Holcomb had worked as a sales manager at Husky Corp.
His hobbies included tennis, golf and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
Loving survivors include his wife of 33 years, Sherry R. Holcomb, of Denton; two daughters, Julie (Guy) Rosser, of Georgetown, Texas, and Holly Talley, of Allen, Texas; his son, Clay Holcomb, of Plano, Texas; four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Vera, and brothers, West and Gary.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
