Conexxus promoted Linda Toth to managing director, the organization announced.
Toth will oversee all day-to-day operations of Conexxus, liaise with the boards of advisers and directors, and represent Conexxus to the broader membership of NACS.
For more than a decade, Toth has contributed to the work of first PCATS as a vendor, then Conexxus as standards manager, and later as director of standards.
Since Toth’s joining the team, Conexxus has broadened the scope of its work from interoperability standards to include EMV advocacy, standards process improvements and association infrastructure.
Gray Taylor will remain executive director in a more strategic role and will pass all operations oversight to Toth. Taylor will assume several projects in his role as consultant to NACS, including the Age Verification Initiative.
Taylor credited Toth with helping doubling Conexxus memberships.
