Civacon will host a series of virtual sessions on the benefits, use cases and features of digital truck tank interfaces, the company announced.
Civacon Virtual Seminar registration opens Sept. 15 for access to the video series and a live Q&A session.
Videos, which may be accessed any time upon registration, will cover advances in technology for preventing overfill, crossover, fuel-retain and theft, and how to use these digital tools to increase uptime and assist in accurate delivery for drivers and fleet managers.
After the seminar, Randy Robinson, national sales manager for Civacon, and a panel of Civacon experts will host a live Q&A at 1:30 p.m. EDT Sept. 24.
“As travel restrictions and safety precautions have limited our opportunities to meet face-to-face with our distributors and customers, we are focused on creating new experiences that keep this valued network up-to-date on our offerings,” Robinson said. “Our digital fuel management solutions CivaCommand and CivaConnect provide greater fleet visibility in real time while helping to limit costly mistakes, two capabilities that have been lacking in analog systems.”
The latest truck tank systems, including CivaCommand and CivaConnect, are digital. The innovation provides fuel loading and unloading performance data that was not visible to fleet managers through analog tech.
Digital systems also bring intuitive touchscreen functions to the controls that prevent overfill, retain conditions and fuel crossover, making day-to-day tasks simpler for drivers. Though proper use of mechanical components is still up to the driver, digital alerts and safeguards make these systems a more active partner in proper delivery compared with manual processes and checklists.
In the work-from-home landscape, which applies to many fleet dispatchers, access to the
CivaConnect dashboard is an easy way to watch fuel out for delivery.
Civacon innovations enhance safety, reliability, efficiency and business performance for the cargo tank industry. The company makes products and systems to safely load, monitor and unload petroleum, dry bulk and petrochemical cargo tanks.
