Cross-Industry Compensation Survey

PEI is partnering with 22 other distributor-based associations to gather data for the 2022 Cross-Industry Compensation & Benefits Survey. The survey will provide compensation bench-marking data designed to help participants make more informed decisions about compensation and benefit packages. This is the second year PEI has participated in this biennial survey.

The 2020 Cross-Industry Compensation & Benefits Survey will represent the most complete, accurate and up-to-date compensation and benefits data available. In addition to data on recruiting and retention; health care costs/trends; retirement benefits; vacations/PTO and holidays; sick and other leave; and sales practices, this report contains compensation-related statistics for common job titles in the industry. These job titles include positions in the following categories:

  • Executive level
  • General and administrative
  • Sales and marketing
  • Operations/warehouse
  • Information technology.

As a participant, you will receive:

  • An association-specific report
  • Excel data tables with full cross-industry data aggregates
  • A customized and confidential company-specific compensation report
  • Access to a searchable results application, which allows users to interactively aggregate the data set based on multiple filters of their choosing.

To ensure the confidential, secure handling of data, the survey is being conducted by an independent research firm, Industry Insights. Industry Insights has more than 35 years of experience in conducting compensation surveys. The company was carefully vetted by the Association Education Alliance (AEA), of which PEI is a member.

Official Representatives of PEI member companies that are in the Distributor and Service & Construction divisions will receive a link to the survey, which will be housed on Industry Insights' secure server.
