At a pilot flying J we've received several call backs for an Encore ultra-high with DEF that keeps going offline. I've replaced the pump node, upgraded the software. changed the crind node, upgraded that software. Keeps going offline. All the ID's are correct. When I pulled the error logs it keeps saying the 2-wire is being pulled, which would signify it going offline but obviously it is not. Any suggestions?

Yeah I just filled out all my paperwork and cleaned all my tools up, but sure I can look at that.

I'm assuming you mean 2.8.86 for the door node software. We've seen a lot of problems with that version at Pilots, but it's typically error 20's we see. Not a true pulser fail mind you, going into level 4 programming and exiting brings the dispenser back to normal...

I would definately try rolling back to an earlier version if pilot will OK it. Past that I would start looking for outside causes, dbox issue perhaps?

I've seen several instances lately where the 2 wire twisted pair was flaky. See if you can swap the CRIND and pump 2 wires in the building and in the dispenser and see what happens. If the pump then stays online but the CRIND isn't talking, you'll need to get new twisted pair pulled.

Since 2.8.86 isn't "released", there aren't release notes...and who knows what might be built into the software that we don't know about yet.

Okay. We solved the offline issue with 2.8.60. But now it won't recognize cards being swiped. I can swipe a diagnostics card and it will go into diagnostics but when I card is swiped there is no response.

Yeah I just filled out all my paperwork and cleaned all my tools up, but sure I can look at that.

What version crind software? Sure you aren't running a secure card reader only version?
