Hello all,
I recently purchased a gas station and have been doing some research regarding back office software. I will be purchasing one of the many options upon opening the store but would love to hear any input you may have, good or bad, on different products. There seems to be a million options! I appreciate the help.

One of, if not the biggest priority when choosing a back office package is tech support.

I have dealt with several different back office companies over the years but the one that always impresses me is Scan Group. They have been very helpful with me but I am only seeing the technician side of the operation.

you should also make sure that your choice of back office is supported by your POS type.

If you are using Gilbarco Passport as your POS take a look at LOCbook http://www.locbook.net for your backoffice software. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. It's the only free solution available, but paid support is available.

People from the back office need to be able to monitor everything that goes within and outside of the company so a good software must be in effect so that there would be no problems that would occur in any form.

And more importantly, there should be something that would be common for everyone across the board to ensure that everyone works on the same pace and for the betterment of everything and anything in their favour.
