I'm hoping someone has experienced this issue thus far.
I did 2 installs over the last 2 days where we were pulling Fujitsu M Platform equipment and installing new Fujitsu TP3627 (E Platform I'm told) systems.
The receipt printer works perfectly on the new Fujitsu until I restore the manual backup I pulled from the M Platform unit. I did remove the nconfig folder that backed up with the nucbak command, so all the ports are fine and the receipt printer is still showing as USB under port configuration, but it will not print.
Here's the insanely crazy part ... if I shut the new system down and connect the old receipt printer to the new cable coming from the new Fujitsu unit and boot the server, this old printer works perfectly!!
I have verified that the both the old and new printers are the same exact model so this is driving me crazy.
Has anyone out there seen this?

1. You should be using the Secure Backup utility, not NucBak
2. Do you have a report printer?

1. Should we be using the secure backup utility on everything or just chevron?
2. Nope ... No report printer |

| Well, I used the Secure Backup Utility on the old system and copied the securebackup folder to my thumbdrive (minus the Extrabackup and nconfig folders as per the instructions) and tried again. The new receipt printer still does not print but the old one does. I re-installed the application and chose to install a new default database and the new printer works. |

If you get that site information to me I'll fix your problem. I've asked around and the answer is in the files I emailed you earlier.

You sent those files to Don and he gave me the files, and I tried the files you sent ... no change
Update on the issue:
The new printer will not work on the old system either |

There isn't a readme file in those files I sent you. You will have to call in for someone to instruct you how to install the files. |
