Just intsalled a TS 550 and still will not complete a tank test. Do not have the SCALD option. Have shut the site down for 12 hrs 3 times to get enough quiet time still it aborts after 8 sec everytime.

Have you called FE Petro? 608-838-5500. They've always been pretty good to me

Called them and they kept saying not enough quiet time.. it had 2.5 hrs quite time before it started.

We don't have many 550's out here, but if it's aborting in 8 seconds it sounds like there's something preventing the test from even starting. Is this on all tanks or just one?

Just one tank. We have already got them tested by our tank tester just trying to get the 550 to do the monthly.

Do you have the probes suspended off the bottom of the tank? Required for tank testing capable probes.

Any time ive had this, it was fuel dripping back into the take making waves. Except one that was near an industrial steam pipe and the fuel gets up to 100f.

I shut the site down and stayed with it all night . Swapped everytrhing except the wire and stil had no luck. Went back to the site and pulled new wire and going to have to wait til Sunday night when they close early and see.

The 550 will mark time from the last detected dispense (2 hours) or delivery (6 hours) before a static test will start.
