Hey Guys, I have a BP site running 8.06.29.01D. site shut down for months, so I have no history to go by. problem is, when cashier opens till and enters opening balance, the sytems takes it as it should, but reciept shows 0.00.Happens on both client and combo. Different operator id's. confirmed on till report that it did not accept opening balance. Register group setup is correct, security permissions are ok. deleted register and re added, quick reimage from sys recovery did not fix. has anyone heard of this issue. Really dont want to do a full reimage if not necessary.

| only other weird thing is if I go into tender maint>cash>register groups, where it sais "this Tender is allowed for" sales, refunds, paid in and out are all checked as normal. "loans" is greyed out. even with super user. site doesnt have phone line yet so cant have tac dial in. They havnt seen this issue before.....HELP |

does the site have the same opening balance for all of their shifts?
have you tried setup->register->register group main and asigning a static balance for the till to open up with? |

| Static opening balance does the same thing. the opening balance will populate and finalize but you will show zeros on the receipt |

| Go into Tender Maintenance. Set Cash up for Loans under Function and Register Group. Save, retest and send me a portion of your M/T/L :) |

| Roger that. Phone the helpdesk, explain your situation. That option is tied to a bundle so either: A) They enable the bundle to help your customer or B) You get escalated to someone who can go in backdoor. Ultimately, until you get a check in that box you wont get a valid total on your opening balance. |
