Has anyone set up a sunoco site with passport running concord that uses a prysm box connected to DSL?
I was sent to rebrand a store and somewhere or another, the instructions for connecting this to passport seem to have disappeared, and I am at a loss on how to connect and configure this mess. I currently have prysm online and configured, but am getting "No Connection" error when attempting PDL. Not sure what and how to program, and help desks are not very helpful at the moment. Checked Gold and tech resources and am not finding anything that goes over passport programming and connections.

I have prysm connected to passport using supplied 9 pin to rj45 adapter through cat5 cable to com 1 on EDH. Network programming set for com 1 on dial, and baud set at 9600. not sure if baud is right, or what primary, secondary, or download numbers need programmed. Also no idea what dial string should be used.

Anyone got a script or document with instructions?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about Passport but I had a similar problem today with Sapp. You may want to play around with the data bits. Thats how I got mine to work.

thanks for the reply...

i finally got it

with passport, it shoud be set for dial

Sunoco Prism settings: (will also work for VSAT using
modem emulation)
Com 1 (or whatever port it’s connected to on the EDH)
2400 Baud
Download, Primary, Secondary number fields 77090008
Dial String AT&FVE&K&Q6
No header or trailer
DTMF Speed Fast
Timer 20
IP Address 127.0.0.1

and make sure the network geniuses have the download set up for passport (not g-site which is how they had me set up)

What no "dongle"?? You should be useing both 9 pin connectors that they send and they are specific, one is for prysm side the other for passport side...connected to a "dongle"/to edh. Then call bypass and/or spacenet. Also I thought all new sites had to use prysmpro's.
