<description><![CDATA[ Seneca Companies is seeking a Licensed UST Installer to join our construction team in the Des Moines, IA area. Seneca Companies is a 300 employee strong group of companies based in Des Moines, IA with branches throughout the Midwest region of the country. <br /><br />Responsibilities include: <br /><br />• Planning, reviewing and developing a layout of each job assignment as directed; completes all paper work necessary for completion of each job. Reviews project status with supervisor on a regular basis. Assists Construction Manager in gathering information for estimating purposes, assists with material or equipment take off for estimating.<br />• Installs tanks, piping and other equipment and tests after installation. Installs and maintains bulk lubrication systems, hydraulic lifts and automotive service equipment. Coordinates and organizes subcontractors and equipment used on each job. Removes and disposes of old equipment.<br />• Troubleshoots and repairs various system failures and communicates and recommends various corrective action measures to supervisor. Investigates and repairs leaks in storage and dispensing systems.<br />• Operates various power tools, skid loaders, air compressors, forklift, and other related tools and equipment in performing described duties. <br />• Overnight travel will be required as a regular part of this position. <br /><br />Qualified Education/Background:<br /><br />• High school education, plus one to three years of related construction experience, or equivalent training and/or experience is required. <br />• In compliance with the Iowa Underground Storage Tank Program (IUSTP), OSHA certification and completion of tank and piping manufacturers' training program is required as well. <br />• Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis is required.<br /><br />Seneca Companies offers an exceptional benefit package including competitive wages, paid vacation, holidays, sick and personal days, and 401K.
