Can anyone help me with a communication problem, I am having on a Concord Passport through EDH to pump. I am using a Encore/Eclipse 500 pump dispenser, somehow I can't seem to get the passport to communicate with the Encore/E 500, it keeps saying that my crind are offline on the passport, and One moment please...on the pump side..
I have program all my forecourt setting for Multi_3 MOC.

I am using software version:

Passport:V8.02.23.03
Encore/Eclipse 500: V3.1.8 APP V97.6.1

Is this the same store with this problem?

If so, is the problem in that post fixed? If not, you would have what you are describing here. I'd recommend you phone a friend (TAC) and have them review your configuration, logs and dispenser data at the EDH. If this is your first go around, then other things may make a bad problem even worse.

It sounds like you have electronic blenders and your set up as multi3. do you have the yellow triangle or red circle? Is USB2.0 turned off in the bios of the EDH. Pumps will not talk if usb2.0 is enabled.

Have you tried moving to another pump loop?

Are you a certified Passport technician?

The Passport is program for none blended Multi_3, everything to my knowledge is connected correctly and my forecourt setup I only have so much options, and double checking myslef it seems to be program correctly. Somehow I am not getting the TX and RX blinking light at the crind node or at the EDH pump port. What gets me is that I can replace the Passport with an G-site unit with the same setup and it communicates right away. I think my problem is in the setup in EDH unit and I know its not bad because I brought it brand new from Gilbarco. I have ping all my communication ports of the EDH, Passport serever, and RV042, they all ping out fine. What about the baud rate the manual never mention about setting it and I think it defaults to 9600. Any more pointer...

start with the basics check the crind node verify you have tx and rx blinking. if TX is on solid check your dbox verify the light is off if it is on you have an open check you connections. If light out in dbox verify there is no rev light on the crind also verify you have the 2 pin white cable going from the crind to the pump node not that red and yellow cable. after that verify blends are the same in forecourt and the dispenser. Next if all is done verify you have a yellow flickering light on the edh on loop 1 & 2 and most importantly verify that you have gilbarco crind selected in forcourt. o yeah and in the crind program in the dispenser is set to moc
