Tankwagon

The name used by oil people to identify small fuel delivery trucks, particularly those capable of transporting less than 5,000 gallons.

 

Tankwagons are primarily used for delivering home heating oil and small quantities of gasoline and diesel fuel. Larger quantities are transported by vehicles referred to as tankers or transports.

 

Tankwagon price is the wholesale price of fuel delivered to a gasoline station.
