PEI began publishing technical manuals in 1986 with the introduction of Recommended Practices for Installation of Underground Liquid Storage Systems, PEI/RP100. Since then, the association has written several additional manuals and is currently developing four new titles.

PEI’s recommended practices and procedures are reviewed and revised on a regular basis to reflect the latest technologies and industry trends. The manuals are available for sale to anyone with an interest in the petroleum equipment and liquid-handling industry.

PEI also offers online tests for each of our Recommended Practices.

Each test is a multiple-choice quiz intended to gauge the user's understanding of these technical documents. After completion of the test the correct answers are displayed and a certificate of completion, with score, is provided. Users may also print the full results of their test.

Access to online tests is available through PEI's online catalog. Once purchased we will email your access codes within minutes. Use the access code immediately, or send it to the person you wish to complete the test.

Tests are offered for $25 each, or by annual subscription to PEI member companies for $299. Subscriptions provide your company with unlimited use of all tests for one year.
