Mike Schulte becomes President of Gilbarco North America on December 1. He reports to Martin Gafinowitz, Danaher Group Executive and President Gilbarco Veeder-Root. Schulte was most recently President of Hennessy Industries.

He has held numerous leadership positions with other Danaher companies since 1998, including Director of Marketing and VP/GM Encoders while at Sensors and Controls, and President Europe, President Linear Motion and Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing while at Danaher Motion. Prior to joining Danaher, Schulte worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group. He began his career in sales at General Motors.

Schulte has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Management Systems from GMI Engineering and Management Institute. He will be based in Greensboro, N.C.
