Thanks to a generous gift from the White-Tucker Company, the PEI Foundation has launched the Charles D. Kemp Scholarships to recognize deserving dependents of PEI member company employees.

Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic achievement, leadership, character, need and the applicant’s intent to contribute to the future of the petroleum and energy handling equipment industry.

The program is administered by the Board of Governors of the PEI Foundation and a Scholarship Selection Committee named by the Board of Governors. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, disability, or national origin. 

Members and friends of PEI who would like to be a part of this effort are invited to make a tax-deductible contribution.

Deadline for 2010-2011 academic year was March 31, 2010. Thank you to all of those who applied.

The inaugural Charles D. Kemp Golf Tournament was held Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Cypress Lakes Golf Club near Houston, Texas. All net proceeds went toward the PEI Foundation and its mission of awarding college scholarships to deserving students.
